I am in a relationship with a wonderful man, whom I have seen since April. Though I am skeptical, since we have not dated for long, this guy is really looking out for my best interests for a change. I see many qualities in him that I want in my future husband and I really feel a strong friendship with him in addition to romantic feelings. Unfortunately, I had already accepted admission to a law school across the country in Arizona when we met. I have suggested once, after much deliberation, that since he considers going back to school, perhaps he could consider Arizona schools near me. He was a bit taken aback by it, and it has not been mentioned since. I am considering bringing the topic up again; I did not want to, since my birthday is next week and this may sour it, but I feel it needs to be addressed. I don't feel that having an online relationship for 3-4 years will work out, and the physical part is necessary to some extent, especially to people our age. I have been in 2 long distance relationships before, but they were 3 hours and 6 hours driving time. This would mean flights, no question about it, which is must more difficult and expensive. Does my suggestion to him sound off-base? And should I just let this one go because life seems to be taking us apart?
