Hey Sabrina,
What do you mean by, “As long as your boundaries are clear with her?” Are you suggesting that his girlfriend has boundaries but he doesn’t?
I agree that club atomosphere’s tend to be “Open Season” for all involved….What isn’t explained is what kind of relationship they are in. Are the boundaries such that they only go out with one another or is it understood that they can date others?
I have to wonder about your statement on being a tomboy and having male friends, and not having feelings for them; is that completely true? Even if a girl or guy has lots of opposite sex friends, there will be a time when feelings will arise, it’s only natural, and then what? Is that when the boundaries set in?
What I seem to be missing or not understanding is where is the open and total honesty on both partners parts and creating a trust so that there is no suspicion? Communication is very important, I agree, but if one or none are honest the communication is a rather mute point.
When there is a lack of honesty then what hope is there for any trust at any level?
I agree with you, people are people, relationships are all different, but I think honesty is the most important thing in communication. If you're honest with her, she'll be honest with you.
