That’s a lot of stuff he is still harboring and I have to wonder how he can say he doesn’t want anything because he is burned and then turn around and say you can stay at his place and it can be coffee and more…You also said there would be no sexual matters and he says, “I’m sure it’ll get better…” then he goes back to ignoring you. Do you question what he and this is all about?

I can understand that if you love him and would like to get back into a relationship with him how and why you want to spend time together. I think that your original idea of just meeting over coffee and talking about each others feelings is a good idea. If he is in a place where he is supposedly so hurt and burned and not sure he really wants anything with you, what makes you consider staying with him at his place and possibly giving into him sexually? If you really love him and he does not feel the same way yet you give yourself away to him, how will you feel when it’s time to go and he says it’s been nice but…

I don’t think I would chase as hard, go visit, meet him in a public place, talk and see how he is. You can be friendly and loving without giving yourself up to him. Let him see you as you are, your own person, and if he wants you he will come to you, don’t sell yourself short.
